The board listened to a proposal to make additional improvements to Montgomery Park, located on River Street at Mill Street, including a new permanent stage that can be used for Montgomery Fest and other concerts throughout the year. The project is part of a proposed Veteran’s Memorial in the park, which will have a recognition plaza for first-responders, health care workers, educators, and veterans.
