Nine-member a capella group to play at the Palace Theatre
Straight No Chaser, an a capella group known for modern twists on classic holiday-themed songs such as “The 12 Days of Christmas,” “Frosty the Snowman” and others, will perform at the Palace Theatre on Dec. 21.
After a year of cancellations due to COVID-19, the nine-member ensemble will return to in-person performances this fall for the “Back In The High Life” tour. The 49-city tour will kick off at the Mystic Showroom in Mystic Lake, Minnesota on Oct. 22, and conclude at the Mes Arts Center in Mesa, Arizona on New Year’s Eve.

Chamber Music Columbus announces season
The long-running Chamber Music Columbus series, which has brought major classical artists and groups to central Ohio since 1948, announced the resumption of in-person concerts starting this fall after more than a year of virtual-only events.
For the 2021-22 season, the organization will present concerts Saturdays in the Southern Theatre, 21 E. Main St. Subscriptions will go on sale in late June and single tickets in mid-August.

• Nov. 13: Aizuri Quartet
• Feb. 19, 2022: Imani Winds
• March 26: Ying Quartet with the PUSH Dance Company
• April 30: Brentano String Quartet with soprano Dawn Upshaw
• May 21: Brooklyn Rider
