ALT wraps ‘Always A Bridesmaid’

Amarillo Little Theatre, 2751 Civic Circle, wraps up its performances of “Always A Bridesmaid,” at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday.

Directed by Peg Lovett, “Always a Bridesmaid” follows four friends who made the promise during their senior prom to be in each others’ weddings no matter what. Thirty years later, these friends have gone through trials and tribulations in life, including multiple marriages and career changes.

Gardens hosting Mad Hatter 2021

The Amarillo Botanical Gardens is hosting Mad Hatter 2021 at the gardens, 1400 Streit Drive, from 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, March 27.

Come dressed as your favorite character from “Alice in Wonderland” and win prizes.

VIP individual tickets are $60 and VIP table tickets are $500.

Tickets include raffles, open bar, hor d’oeuvres and live music by Moon Dog.

Midland to perform at Hodgetown

Country group Midland is scheduled to make its Amarillo debut on Saturday, April 3, at Hodgetown in downtown Amarillo. Gates open at 6 p.m.

There will be on-field seating pods, a seating bowl, and general admission seats available.

Hailing from Dripping Springs, lead vocalist Mark Wystrach fronts Midland’s sound that is rounded out with lead guitarist/vocalist Jess Carson and bass player/vocalist Cameron Duddy. 

Their critically acclaimed sophomore album “Let it Roll” (Big Machine Records) earned the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Top Country Album Sales.

Gaither Vocal Band coming to Amarillo

The Gaither Vocal Band brings its The Good Things Take Time 2020 Tour to Amarillo at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 8, at The Church at Quail Creek, 801 Tascosa Road.

Wetzel to perform at Hodgetown

Koe Wetzel will perform live at Hodgetown on Saturday, May 1, with opener Pecos & the Rooftops. Gates are scheduled to open at 6 p.m., with live music set to begin at 7 p.m.

A Texas-born singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer, Wetzel “kicks out hard rock hooks with a twang bred in rough and tumble dives, yet meant for stadium stages.”

Pecos & the Rooftops are a close-knit group of friends from northeast Texas that came together while in college in Lubbock. The band is Pecos Hurley (vocals/acoustic guitar), Brandon Jones (rhythm guitar), Zack Foster (lead guitar), Kalen Davis (bass), and Kade Trentham (drums). 

Box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seat ticket pricing starts at $30 and increases depending on ticket type and location.
